Lol, I didn't know stamps had their own category...
No, this stamp is not meant to say "princess"! (Should I make a male princess counterpart, though? I really like those as well...)
Explanation of this stamp:
I don't necessarily mean princes as in the ones that are royal heirs 'n stuff. I mean it more like in a metaphorical way - a pretty girl that's strong, independent and possibly bifauxnen, though that last thing isn't necessary. They don't need to be a literal warrior, but the chivalry factor that's often there in fairytales is certainly something I like to see in them too. =w=
That, and I really love prince outfits on girls. xD
By the way, if anyone knows anime/manga/comics/cartoons/movies/etc. with females princes in them, please tell me! I only know about Revolutionary Girl Utena and The Rose Of Versailles...
I Hate How People Think That When A Female Would Rather Be Called "Prince," They Think She's Lesbian. I'm Sick Of Being Judged dhdadgfkh We Had A Play At My School, And I Got The Part Of The Prince { Which I Wanted } , While A Boy Got The Part Of The Princess, So My Mom Started Asking Me If I Was Lesbian. I Almost Flipped My Shit omg
How about Princess Knight? Sapphire is a female prince because she has both traditionally male qualities and traditionally female qualities (as shown by her having a pink heart and a blue heart). She likes having both hearts and refuses to have the blue one removed. She's also heir to a kingdom as well.
Sort of like that. ^^ Though straight female princes are awesome too~ I believe Oscar from The Rose Of Versailles is straight (or bi?) and she's also awesome~ (Though honestly I would've preferred her being interested in girls.)
I don't like much yuri (just because a lot of it moves too slow and has a boring plot), but Aoi Hana is a pretty good one with a female!prince in it. I kinda had a girl-crush on that character for a while until one point in the series. You can watch it on Crunchyroll. c:
